The MPV and hatchback lineups from Maruti have been quite successful. SUVs are dominated by Tata Motors and Hyundai / Kia rivalry. By introducing a radically revised Brezza, Maruti hopes to reverse the trend and seize the lead in the SUV segment from its rivals.
The sub-4-meter SUV sector is one of the most competitive in the Indian automotive industry, and when Brezza is introduced, it will face stiff competition. The next-generation Maruti Brezza was reportedly seen in Gurgaon’s Cyber City, just ahead of its official debut. In order to film its official TV commercial. Thanks to Naman and Sahil, two car aficionados who shared these spy images with us, for the heads-up.
Maruti Brezza 2022 Leaked Photos
The Maruti Brezza TVC shoot for the year 2022 has revealed two different colours. There are two distinct roof colours: red and blue. There were no cameras set up on the ground. Drones were used throughout the whole filming process.
For starters, the Maruti Brezza 2022 will no longer have the Vitara suffix in its name. Brezza 2022 will get a new front fascia and reworked tail area, much like the previously released Baleno. The revised grille with horizontal chrome slats seems to be the most noticeable alteration in the front. The arrow-shaped inlays in the headlights blend seamlessly with the chrome trim.
The bumpers will be the next key area of improvement. As far as I can tell, Maruti has reworked the bumper in order to give it a more aggressive and SUV-like posture. The new headlights have a more upscale appearance. Additionally, they include dual-purpose daytime running lights (DRLs) that also serve as turn signals.
Spy photos reveal that the 2022 Maruti Brezza Red will come with new 16-inch alloy wheels with a dual-tone finish. Only the most expensive variants will come standard with these wheels. The new car has a much sleeker and more luxurious rear end than the old model. The new Brezza branding and slimmer tail lights enhance the vehicle’s visual appeal.
New Features & Interiors
Interiors were not spied on, although they had been before. The interior of the vehicle will be redesigned. Because the car was otherwise a solid package, Brezza’s interiors are the weak link. The interiors serve their purpose, yet they lack style and refinement. This may not be the case in the future.
The Brezza 2022 will include a floating-type touchscreen interface from Maruti to stay up with current trends. The new Baleno’s infotainment system may be used for the new Baleno as well. The new Brezza is anticipated to gain all of the same telematics and phone connection technologies as the Baleno and new Ertiga.
In the future, Maruti may provide the Brezza with much-needed additions such as AC vents in the back. A sunroof, a luxury that almost every new vehicle buyer desires, will be standard equipment.
Improved Safety
On the same Global C platform as the departing Maruti Brezza and outgoing Urban Cruiser. Predicted 5 star rating for safety. As part of the Safer Cars for India programme, the current Brezza is the first Maruti model to get a commendable 4-star crash safety rating from Global NCAP.
Maruti plans to use the same engine and gearbox for the future Brezza as they did for the recently released Ertiga. This is a Dual VVT and Dual Jet 1.5L gasoline engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology. There is a 5-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission that may be used with this engine. As a replacement for the outmoded 4-speed torque converter device, this new 6-speed automated torque converter is being installed. The vehicle will also be available in a CNG version.
Maruti has not yet announced the price or the date of the vehicle’s release. However, the new Brezza 2022 is expected to be on sale in June. A price increase is also expected when it is released because of all the additional features it will have.
