Despite the high demand for SUVs in the nation, not many car models are available with a factory-installed CNG kit. CNG is one of the most cost-effective ways to go about town on a daily basis. Although CNG has its downsides, the loss of power numbers is one of the most common. If you’re willing to sacrifice a little bit of performance in order to save money on gas, a CNG automobile is an excellent choice for you. We’ve included five future SUVs with CNG kits in this post.
Tata Punch i-CNG
The Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG are currently powered by Tata’s i-CNG technology. The Punch i-CNG is likely to be added to the vehicle as well, and will be referred to as the ‘Punch I-CNG’. The 1.2-liter petrol engine may be upgraded with a CNG conversion kit. Although the Punch CNG’s power output may be reduced, the car will be less expensive to operate because of the lower fuel costs.
Maruti Vitara Brezza CNG
Compact SUVs like the Maruti Brezza are quite popular in India. Maruti’s sales stats for this vehicle are excellent. Brezza owners might expect a new version of the vehicle in the near future. The Brezza would be getting a slew of new features as a result of this upgrade. It is likely that Maruti would also offer factory-fitted CNG options for the new Brezza to further boost its value for money.
Kia Sonet CNG
A Kia Sonet with a CNG kit was seen some time ago. There was a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine in the vehicle that was being tested. If this is true, Kia may be working on a CNG-powered turbocharged petrol engine. The seven-speed DCT and the iMT transmissions are now available from Kia Sonet for this engine. When a turbo-petrol engine is tested with a CNG configuration, might it suggest that India’s first automatic CNG automobile may be on the way? Think about it.
Hyundai Venue CNG
The facelifted Hyundai Venue should arrive around the middle of June. With this upgrade, Hyundai is likely to concentrate on refining the design and introducing new features for this model. However, we may also get to see CNG-equipped versions of the Venue makeover in the future. We anticipate the CNG configuration to be paired with the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, like the Sonet. Because Hyundai and Kia are related firms, it’s possible that an automated CNG setup may be offered for the Venue as well.
Hyundai Alcazar CNG
There have been rumblings that Hyundai is working on a CNG-powered Alcazar ever since the test vehicle was sighted on the road testing. Premium seven-seat SUV, the Alcazar. With a CNG kit, Hyundai’s Alcazar would be the first seven-seat SUV to have this technology. Updates on the Alcazar, however, have not been verified. Due to the fact that Alcazar’s CNG Kit is still under development. However, we are confirmed about the vehicles mentioned above.
