KTM has changed a lot of things in the new generation of RC 200, from chassis to body everything is new. They have made it faster and easy to ride than its previous version.
Same Weight As Old Version But With Bigger Fuel Tank And New Aerodynamic Fairing
The weight of the bike is almost the same as the old bike but the new version gets the upper hand in terms of aerodynamic bodywork which makes it fast and, now it cuts through the corners more easily. Besides having the same weight as the old version the new KTM RC 200 has a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 liters as compared to the 9.5 liters of the old RC 200.
New Alloy Wheel Design And Bigger Disc Brakes
The alloy wheels of the bike have a new design and are almost 1-1.5Kgs lighter than the old version of the bike. The new alloy design has 5 spokes compared to the 10 spoke alloy design of the previous model. The new model gets a bigger 320mm disc size which is the same size that KTM offers in the RC 390. So the front brakes are now more aggressive.
The design of the disc is new to make it lighter.
New Bolt on sub-frame And Seat Design
The new KTM RC 200 gets a new bolt-on subframe. They have made it more rigid yet it weighs the same as the old frame design of the bike. Now in case of an accident, you don’t have to replace the whole frame.
The front and the back seat are now more comfortable. The front seat is now bigger so that you can move easily around the corners if you are a tall person.
