has increased the prices for its Carens MPVs this month. This is the second price increase for the MPV that Kia has introduced since its launch in February 2022. Since its launch, the Carens have been in high demand.
Kia Carens: Petrol pricing
The Carens can be powered by one of two petrol engines – either a 115hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit or a 140hp 1.4-litre turbocharged unit. The 6-speed manual transmission is standard on both engines, while the 1.4-litre engine can be ordered with a DCT automatic (7-speed DCT).
The MPV’s naturally-aspirated manual versions see a maximum increase of Rs 50,000. Turbo-petrol manual Carens variants see a rise of Rs 10,000 to 20,000.

The turbo petrol versions of the Carens equipped with the DCT automatic transmission box see an average price increase of Rs 20,000. The petrol-powered Carens start at Rs 10 lakh and go up to Rs 17.70 crore.
Kia Carens diesel pricing
You can also get the MPV with a 1.5-litre, 115hp diesel engine. This engine is available paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a torque converter auto transmission. The prices for the Luxury manual mid-spec Carens have been increased by Rs 35,000. However, the manual and automatic variants are unchanged at Rs 30,000. The diesel-powered Carens starts at Rs 11.70 Lakh and goes up to Rs 18. Lakh.
