The Tata Tiago EV was introduced in India and costs around 8.49 thousands (ex-showroom) This is the most affordable four-wheeler electric vehicle in India. Tiago EV will be offered in four trims: the XE, XT,+ and the XZ+ Tech. The bookings to reserve Tata Tiago EV hatchbacks will open from October 1. deliveries will start in January.
The company is offering Tata Tiago EV in two battery pack options, 24 Kwh with a range of 315km and 19.2 kWh with a range of 250km.

Tata Tiago EV: powertrain and charging
The Tiago electric vehicle comes powered by Tata’s Ziptron high-voltage design that makes use of permanent magnets and a synchronous electric motor. Tata says that the Tiago EV has the ability to achieve the 0-60 kph speed in 5.7 seconds.
The lithium-ion battery pack and electric motor come with the IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. Additionally, it comes with a 19.2kWh battery that can provide the potential to have an MIDC distance of up to 250km. In terms of appearance In terms of style, in terms of design, the Tiago EV is similar to the ICE-powered Tiago that received new styling in 2020. To differentiate it from an EV it has electric blue accents all over the body, and blue highlights in the headlamps.

The cabin is similar to it’s predecessor, the ICE Tiago. But, Tata has given the Tiago EV blue accents on the interior, similar to that of the Tigor EV, to differentiate it from the gasoline-powered version. Its gear lever has been replaced with a rotating dial to operate selecting the mode of drive and has an option for sports mode.
