More Powerful Engine
The new oil-cooled 159.7cc single-cylinder engine of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V produces 1.6Ps more power than the previous version of the bike. Now the bike is more responsive and quicker on the road. The low speed and mid acceleration are now better. Over 6000rpm the bike has more power and grunt than the previous bike.

The engine is now very smooth and refined. The engine feels less strain above 6500rpm. TVS engineers have deployed GTT (glide through tech) which helps the rider to maintain 7kmph in 1st gear, 12kmph in second gear, and 17kmph in the third gear without any clutch or throttle response even if there is a pillion at our back.
