Land Cruiser LC300 and new mid-size SUV are among three new vehicles that Toyota Motors will launch this year. The company will also release a new generation of Innova. In June 2022, the new Maruti Brezza will be replaced by the new Toyota Urban Cruiser. This summer is expected to see the premiere of Toyota’s new Land Cruiser LC300 and its Creta challenger, both of which might be in dealerships by the end of 2018. Toward the end of this year, the new Toyota Innova will have its public premiere, followed by its official introduction. Toyota’s new SUVs and minivans are described in depth in the following paragraphs.
1. Toyota Urban Cruiser
Rebranded Toyota’s Vitara Brezza, the Urban Cruiser, will get an upgrade in the near future. In many ways, the new-generation Brezza will be quite similar. With a redesigned dashboard, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connection, wireless charging, a 360 degree camera, SIM-based connected vehicle suite and an electric sunroof, the subcompact SUV is set to arrive. Major changes include a new 1.5L K15C Dualjet petrol engine and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
2. Toyota Land Cruiser LC300
Beginning in February of the next year, 2022, Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 orders began to flow. The SUV will be available for purchase by the end of August 2022. GA-F platform, a ladder-on-frame chassis made of innovative high-strength steel, will be used to support the SUV. India-spec models are expected to have a 3.3L twin-turbo diesel engine with a 10-speed automated transmission as the powertrain of choice. The oil burner has a maximum output of 305 horsepower and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. The 3.5L twin-turbo petrol engine, which produces 415bhp, will also be offered.
3. Toyota Suzuki Unnamed SUV
It’s hardly a secret that Toyota and Suzuki are working together on a mid-size SUV that’s expected to be on the market by the 2022 Diwali holiday season. Rumor has it that Toyota’s Bidadi facility is already producing a prototype of the new SUV. By June or July, the new model will be on display. Based on Toyota’s TNGA-B chassis, it might come with a turbocharged gasoline engine or a hybrid electric drive system. Automatic and manual transmissions are also available. Wireless smartphone charging, a 360-degree camera, linked vehicle technology, and ADAS are just a few of the highlights to expect.
4. Toyota Innova New Generation
By the end of 2022, Toyota is expected to reveal the latest version of its Innova. The MPV is expected to be on sale in India either immediately after its introduction or in early 2023. There will be a new MPV model that is both shorter and lighter than the current variant. The new Innova has a larger wheelbase, which means extra cabin room. Toyota’s Noah and Voxy MPVs may have influenced its design and aesthetics. Its interior will also get significant improvements. No diesel engine will be available in the new Toyota Innova for 2022.
